  • How long will it take?
The average driveway takes two days to dig out , prepare the sub-base and set our levels and drainage. It should take a day to lay itand it will be power washed off one - two days later.Approximately a week later it will be sealed, so it will be out of action for around ten days for your car , although it will be available for pedestrian traffic within that time.
    How deep is the sub-base?
    100-125mm and then compacted
    How deep is the concrete?
    100-125mm of re-inforced concrete
    What about the colour?
The colour comes in a powder form which contains various pigments and strengthening agents, it is trowelled in to the wet surface to provide a permanent topping.
    Is it slippery?
No. We use a non slip sealer which again is passed to British standards
    Will it crack?
Crack control joints are placed at regular intervals along the area to allow for expansion and contraction, these are filled with a silicone and are barely visible when the area is sealed. The concrete also has a high cement content and is re-inforced for additional strength.
