The criteria was a drive that would blend in with the surroundings and also be easy maintenance. Due to the size of the drive it was decided that the roman slate texture would be used and the expansion joints would be placed strategically so as to give the impression that large slabs of sandstone were placed. This was achieved and also smaller slabs were created using a grinder. All joints were filled using a floor grout. |
